MODERN PİYANO TEKNİKLERİ ve İKİ ESER

Abstract

EXTENDED PIANO TECHIQUES AND TWO PIECES 

“Contemporary Techniques” are those untraditional music singing or playing techniques. Although the use of extended piano techniques were used through every period of music history their application in music since 1900’s has become much more common. Many contemporary composers search different technical possibilities of instruments and these techniques increase the instrumental colors for contemporary works. Extended piano techniques are techniques for producing unique sounds. In this study, Mesruh Savaş’s (1978-) first two compositions which were composed for the project “Extended Piano Techniques and Teaching in Music Education Departments” was chosen as an example and were analyzed. Their contribution to music literature and their place and importance was examined and searched. Thus, it was observed that the extended techniques utilized in these pieces are playing pizzicato with right and left hands fingertips, using different tools like chisel and paper clips for achieving different colors. According the limited literature about subject, like only one doctorate thesis in Turkey, by making this analysis this study will make important contributions to the literature.

ÖZET

“Modern Teknikler” müzikte kullanılan icra teknikleri olup bu teknikler geleneksel olandan söyleme veya çalma teknikleridir. Modern piyano tekniklerinin kullanımı müzik tarihinin her döneminde var olmuşsa da, 20. yy. müziğindeki kullanımı çok daha yaygındır. Pek çok çağdaş besteci çalgıların farklı teknik olanaklarını araştırmakta ve şüphesiz bu yöntem çağdaş eserler için çalgısal renklerin çeşitliliğini artırmaktadır. Modern piyano teknikleri alışılmışın dışında ses üretme teknikleridir. Bu araştırmada Mesruh Savaş’ın (1978-) 2011 yılında Uludağ Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı’nda uygulanan “Modern Piyano Teknikleri ve Müzik Öğretmenliği Programında Uygulanması” adlı proje için bestelediği ilk iki eserin müzikal analizi yapılmıştır. Böylelikle bu iki eserin piyano edebiyatı içindeki yeri ve piyano edebiyatına katkıları incelenmiş ve araştırmanın sonucunda eserlerde sağ ve sol el parmak ucu ile pizzicato yapma, demir keski, ataç ve demir para gibi değişik araçları kullanarak metalik sesler elde etme gibi tekniklerin kullanıldığı görülmüştür. Modern teknikleri kullanılarak yazılan eserlerin incelenmesiyle bu konuda sadece bir doktora tezinden oluşan Türkçe literatüre katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmüştür.
