YETİNMEZLİK ÖLÇEĞİ: BİR GEÇERLİK ve GÜVENİRLİK ÇALIŞMASI

Abstract

THE MAXIMIZATION SCALE:  A VALIDITY AND RELIABILITY STUDY

The aim of the present study is to examine the validity and reliability of the Maximization Scale (Nenkov et al., 2008). Participants were 300 university students. The results of confirmatory factor analysis demonstrated that the six items loaded on one factor (x²= 18.30, df= 8, RMSEA= .066, CFI= .95, IFI= .96, AGFI= .95, GFI= .98, SRMR= .045).  Factor loadings ranged from .33 to .58 and the corrected item-total correlations ranged from 24 to .45. Cronbach alpha internal consistency reliability coefficient was .60. According to these results it can be argued for that this scale is a valid and reliable instrument.

ÖZET

Bu çalışmanın amacı Yetinmezlik Ölçeğini (Nenkov, Morrin, Ward, Schwartz, & Hulland, 2008) Türkçeye uyarlamak ve geçerlik ve güvenirliğini incelemektir. Çalışma 300 üniversite öğrencisi üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Doğrulayıcı faktör analizi sonucuna göre 6 maddeden ve tek boyuttan oluşan modelin iyi uyum verdiği değerlendirilmiştir (x²= 18.30, sd= 8, RMSEA= .066, CFI= .95, IFI= .96, AGFI= .95, GFI= .98, SRMR= .045). Ölçeğin faktör yükleri .33 ile .58, düzeltilmiş madde toplam korelasyon katsayıları ise .24 ile .45 arasında sıralanmaktadır. Ölçeğin Cronbach alfa iç tutarlılık güvenirlik katsayısı için .60 olarak bulunmuştur. Bu verilere dayanarak, Yetinmezlik Ölçeği Türkçe formunun geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olduğu söylenebilir.
