ERNEST BLOCH: HAYATI VE “SUITE FOR VIOLA & PIANO” ESERİ ÜZERİNE BİR İNCELEME
Abstract
ERNEST BLOCH: A REVIEW ON HIS LIFE AND “SUITE FOR VIOLA & PIANO”
Ernest Bloch (1880-1959) was born in Switzerland to a Jewish family. Religion has been an integral part of the life of the Bloch family. By combining his identity with his musical background in the same pot; the composer, who created an original and complex musical language accepted by masses. Bloch made an important contribution to the viola repertoire with this work. In the production of a work, the mood and environment of the person who wrote the work are important. It is aimed to convey the characteristics of the composer's musical life and the period in which he lived, to the artists who will perform the work. Thus, it is aimed to convey the characteristics of the composer’s artistic life and the period in which he lived, to the artists who perform the work. In the context of the work in which the viola is at the forefront, it is thought that the study will contribute to the understanding of Bloch's personality and compositions, and will facilitate the understanding and interpretation of the work as it was composed. It is hoped that the musical form analysis would also guide those who will listen to the work.
